Making an entrance
To make the first impression of your new home memorable, fit a custom front door from 4 U We Do
The design of a front door can often give us a clue as to the personality of the owner. It's a safe bet, for example, that someone with a door knocker in the shape of a cat has an affinity with the furry creatures.
As we extend this level of personal detailing throughout the home, it's apt to have the entry point customised too.
4 U We Do custom makes large wooden doors and wrought iron accessories such as handles, knockers, locks and hinges.
Owner Peter Grobler says the company specialises in one-off designs to help clients' homes stand out from the neighbours.
"No two designs are the same because we craft our doors to reflect the personal style of the owner."
The doors can be made from any timber and in any style or size.
"We often make doors up to 3m high and 2.4m wide, and can make them larger," says Peter Grobler. "Options include single side-hung, single with pivot, pivot with stable door top, or a stable door.
The company's staff has more than 30 years' experience in the local and international market. They also make solid slab furniture, rustic wooden benchtops and cabinetry, and wrought iron stair rails.
