One of the difficulties many people face whenbuilding a new home or renovating is how best to wire their home with the future in mind.

That was the case with this renovation project. The homeowners wanted a system that was flexible enough to cope with future developments in technology, says Asad Hussain of Automation Associates.

With so many options available, the homeowners were also looking for a system layout that was easy to use.

"We installed a smart wiring system for the house, which allowed the phones, computers and TV systems to be integrated. The clients are able to control their Sky decoder from TV viewing areas using an infrared system."

The home also has a security and fire-detection system, Nuvo Multiroom Audio system with TruAudio speakers, and a Farfisa intercom system at the vehicle gate, all supplied and installed by Automation Associates.
