With ongoing education opportunities, members of the Kitchen & Bathroom Designers Institute of Australia can keep up with the latest trends
Regular contact with colleagues and associates is one of the most effective ways to improve your skill levels and expand product knowledge.
Joining a professional organisation provides these opportunities for designers working on their own or in small businesses. Members of the Kitchen & Bathroom Designers Institute of Australia (KBDI) can meet like-minded people and keep up to date with the latest systems, products and technologies.
Brad Hunt of the Trends Australia Group is a kitchen and bathroom designer and a member of the KBDI.
"Through regularly attending KBDI events, we can be confident that our designers enhance their expertise to create complete kitchen packages for our clients. Because we understand the need for strong product knowledge, we can provide kitchens that are both good value and high quality," says Hunt.
Membership of the KBDI is open to all those involved in designing kitchens and bathrooms. It offers specialist training and continuing professional development through meetings and seminars. KBDI accredited designers hold higher qualifications, and have a CDK Au designation.
For more information, or to confirm the status of a designer, contact the KBDI, phone 1300 253 223. Website: www.kbdi.org.au. Email: enquiries@kbdi.org.au.
