For any high-end residential property, the landscaping is just as important as the architecture. This project was no exception, which is why the outdoor living areas reflect the modernist design of the house.

Nevada Pools designed and constructed the two pools on the site a large swimming pool at the rear of the house, and a smaller spa and water feature in a courtyard at the front.

Company owner Tim Kalkowski says the main pool features a complex design of raised, intersecting walls that appear to slice through one another. To add further visual interest, the wall radiates from a low to a high elevation, and forms a backdrop for the custom tiling and stonework.

Special features of the pool include glass mosaic tiles, stainless steel weirs, a Seagrass stone wall with recessed glass water channels, and a custom PebbleTec interior interspersed with gold flecks.

The courtyard spa and water feature, which have similar glass water channels and mosaics, enhance the view from inside the house.
