Ease of use and livability were the primary considerations for the design of the audiovisual and home automation systems for the home. Acoustic Design LLC, a custom electronics specialist, designed, installed and programmed a custom home automation solution that uses two central AMX 8400 wireless touch panels, and eight hand-held RTI T2C remotes.

This user-friendly system controls all the automated systems throughout the house, including the lighting, security and thermostats, as well as the home theater and audio systems.

Audiovisual systems from Acoustic Design incorporate products from renowned brands, such as Lexicon, Meridian/Faroudja, Fujitsu, Paradigm, Canton, Autopatch, Kaleidescape and MIT Cables.

Acoustic Design also helped design a custom 10-seat poker table, with cameras installed at each position, World Series of Poker-style. The cameras can run with up to a 30-minute delay, and can be viewed from any of the 12 televisions in the house.
