It often makes more sense to renovate than move. Saniflo macerating pumps help simplify bathroom and kitchen remodelling projects and they can be tucked out of sight if required

Home improvements invariably involve kitchen and/or bathroom renovations, and it's these projects that can do much to increase the value of your home. To ensure the best results, however, you don't want to compromise your design ideals for the sake of the plumbing.

With a Saniflo macerating pump, you are no longer restricted by existing plumbing lines. This means you can install a bathroom in the basement, a coffee machine in the office or a shower in the garage. Water-using facilities, including toilets, basins and showers, can be installed away from, and even below, existing sewer lines. And the small bore pipes that carry the waste can be easily concealed in wall cavities or ceiling voids, avoiding the need for a major excavation to accommodate pipes.

Similarly, the pump needn't interfere with the aesthetics of your kitchen or bathroom, as it can be concealed within the cabinetry or wall cavity.

Saniflo managing director Chris Olsen says the pump provides considerable cost savings as installation can be completed in a fraction of the time of an excavation, and there is no need to engage in expensive reinstatement works.

"When it comes to home renovation projects, Saniflo is effectively the missing piece of the jigsaw puzzle," he says. "It is the difference between making your renovation possible, or letting it fizzle on the drawing board."

Olsen says the Saniflo Group invented macerating pump technology more than 50 years ago. The company is still at the forefront of sanitary waste removal its research and development division is constantly developing new and improved techniques. Saniflo has sold more than 5 million units worldwide, and has a distribution network that spans more than 25 countries.
