The owner-architect of this residence selected Italian modular cabinetry from importer NYLoft largely for the sleek, contemporary design, but also for its environmentally considerate makeup.

"The home is a mid-century-influenced remodel, and the client wanted open, sleek spaces, which the Atenea kitchen in dark oak wood veneer suited perfectly," says marketing director Cornelia Stumpf.
