French splendor
This grandly proportioned French Provincial home is built using as pure a form of the style as is possible with today's materials
Your lighting choices pull together the overall look of a period home. Tower Lighting, which specializes in residential decorative lighting imported from Europe, provided all the fixtures for this residence.
Tower Lighting owner Stuart Smiley knew this period home required the traditional designs and quality craftsmanship his European sources are able to provide.
The kitchen lighting needed to provide atmosphere, but also needed to be functional, as the homeowner enjoys cooking.
Task lighting was used for countertops and sinks, with matching sconces highlighting the fireplace. A complementary chandelier finishes the decorative accents in the kitchen.
Hand-blown Venetian glass lanterns were used to provide light for the home's stairwells, and custom-made outdoor gas lanterns were used for the exterior of the home.
Lights in the bar are from Florence, and were chosen to create a more subdued, casual feel for evening relaxation.
