The old adage that two heads are better than one simply means that the best ideas are often the result of a good discussion between several people.

Brininstool & Lynch runs its architectural practice in a studio environment, where an open atmosphere contributes to a healthy exchange of ideas, and encourages collaboration and the sharing of project data.

Brininstool & Lynch principal Brad Lynch says all the architects in the practice bring with them knowledge and experience from diverse backgrounds, and all are capable of working on a variety of project types. These range from home renovations to designing high-rise buildings.

"With any project our practice undertakes, we recognize the importance of site and vernacular influences, without these factors dominating our approach," he says. "Our design tactic is to create rich, individual spaces, and to bring clear, modern thinking to our ideas."
