Making basic box cabinetry look special requires the addition of some finishing touches. By adding a few carefully turned and carved decorative wood components, even the most standard kitchen cabinetry can have the look and feel of fine furniture.

The decorative wood in this kitchen is from the Designs-Of-Distinction® line, by Brown Wood Products.

The company's director of marketing, Amy O'Callaghan-Mikal, says Designs-Of-Distinction's decorative wood products will change the face of any room. "They give the feel of luxury to any kitchen, be it stock or custom," she says.

All the turned components are finished with 180 and 220 grit sandpaper, to have clean, clear lines.
