Fine outlook
To maximise an expansive view and a seamless connection to the outdoors, this house features Euroslider and Eurostacker doors by Rylock

Recent advances in building technology have made it much easier to incorporate extra-wide openings to decks and terraces to improve indoor-outdoor flow.
For this clifftop house, architectural designer Grant McIntyre of Design Construction Home designed several such openings, including a 5.3m-long opening from the living room. To accommodate this width, McIntyre specified commercial top rolling Atlantic Suite Eurosliders by Rylock Auckland.

Rylock Auckland director Peter Bilcich says the extra strength of this joinery helps it withstand the wind zoning of the clifftop property.
The house also features powdercoated door and window joinery by Rylock from the residential Pacific Suite. This joinery includes Eurostacker doors with flush sills. All the doors and windows have a Duratech Silver Pearl finish, which provides an extra-thick powdercoating. In addition, the joinery features high-end Cubico hardware and double glazing.

Rylock also supplied aluminium louvres with 152mm-wide blades, and Opalescent obscure glass to bathrooms.
