economic driver
Behind the success of any high-end design lies a close attention to budget on the Buddle Findlay fit-out, Rider Levett Bucknall brought an eagle-eyed fiscal perspective
Creating an effective commercial interior requires an ongoing budgetary response to project evolution.
Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) provided cost consultancy services on the Buddle Findlay office fit-out These included estimating, cost planning and budgeting advice; tender review, analysis and reporting; final cost projection reporting and advice on issue resolution, says Rider's director Tony Sutherland.
"RLB assisted Buddle Findlay to develop the budget for their clean, contemporary fit-out, factoring in the contingency required to meet any emerging challenges along the way," says Sutherland. "Ongoing close attention ensures adopted budgets are achieved while staying focused on the high-end result required."
Team issues that needed resolution during delivery included sequencing construction to enable continued operation; the need to begin on the most complex floor for associated material lead times and floor levelling issues for the considerable number of operable walls.
A tight economic outcome was achieved by close teamwork with all parties involved, including expert advice from Wareham Cameron, CPG, NDY and the dedicated, proactive client representatives.
