At the resort home, Neil Kelly Cabinets provided urea formaldehyde-free, custom-designed cabinetry that complemented the sustainable theme required by Grey Lundberg/CMI Homes.

"The cabinetry was made from Forest Stewardship Council-certified knotty alder, in a low-VOC (volatile organic compound) water-based finish," says Fields. "The clean, simple lines of the cabinetry reflect our environment-conscious temperament we use no materials in excess. The American Craftsman door styles are handsome and well tailored, and the low-VOC glues, adhesives and finishes promote a clean indoor air quality."

Neil Kelly Cabinets has been manufacturing green and healthy cabinetry since 1998. The company is active in the US Green Building Council and the Oregon Natural Step, and is committed to having its practices, procedures, and products reviewed with an eye toward eliminating waste and reducing harmful environmental impacts.
