I wanted to prove that a custom mosaic installation could work seamlessly with a tight construction schedule, while showcasing my work and the Built Green philosophy. "Maxum worked with Brenda Nunes on the selection and design of the tile surfaces for the kitchen and bath areas. The tiles selected for the mosaic were in accord with the home's design. As well as being made from a recyclable material, they were lightweight and locally available, reducing emissions associated with transport. Any waste was further reduced by using the leftover materials for a smaller mosaic in the adjoining bath.
