High-performance door and window joinery is one such element helping to transform contemporary house design, as this project demonstrates. The house, by architect Bart Meo, features segmented aluminium windows and extra-large sliding doors from the APL high-performance Metro Series, from Able Aluminium.

The joinery complements another key architectural feature custom-moulded aluminium roofing panels with a radiused edge that floats above the double-height interior living space.
