To create the atmosphere the owners wanted for their home, the interior designer has chosen a mix of neutral colors and textured finishes.

Interior designer Julie Porter says she knew the owner liked well-made products, so she selected Area West to supply textiles and wallcoverings.

"With their guidance and assistance, we found the perfect finishes for the master suite. For this space, we selected a variety of textures and kept the palette neutral and peaceful," says Porter.

A German paper with a raised tone-on-tone pattern was chosen for the walls, and the textiles, also from Europe, feature an interesting shoelace pattern. To complement this, a gold mica finish was selected for the walls in the master suite's two bathrooms.

Area West also supplied fabric and wallcoverings for the large library on the ground floor.
