"This initial element led to extensive work building custom period cabinetry for the kitchen and bedrooms," he says. "Honduras mahogany zar wood stained and finished in five coats of flat lacquer was used for all woodwork. Bronze was introduced as an accent on most cabinetry pieces."My woodwork had to directly complement the home's Spanish Colonial style and interiors. To this end, architect James Bourret worked with me on everything from the hand-carved stair newels up to the custom cabinetry, vanities, desks and bookcases. I also worked with interior designer Robert Holgate on the four-piece curved mahogany ottoman and hand-carved walnut Spanish console." Image of the woodwork incorporated into this home.
