A fireplace is often selected to create a strong central focus in the living spaces of a house. However, this doesn't have to be the case, and indeed it may be preferable to achieve a more subtle effect.

The Flameboyant Pearl, a contemporary fireplace, features a glass silk screen surround that can be customised in any colour from the Resene Total Colour System. This allows homeowners and designers who want a more understated look for the fireplace to select a finish that matches the wall colour.
