The unpredictable nature of the weather can make its effect on apartments and office spaces difficult to control. Too much sun, and buildings are likely to overheat; not enough light, and people can begin to feel depressed.

JWI Louvres has been manufacturing and installing its aluminium and Western Red Cedar louvres in Australia since 1985. All louvre systems may be fitted onto windows, facades, balconies and other exterior faces of buildings, providing an easy method of controlling sun, rain, privacy and ventilation. To ensure the effectiveness of the product, JWI Louvres can design specific solutions to suit the requirements of individual projects.

With JWI Louvres, the panels can be controlled either manually or with electric drives. Electric drives can be linked to environmental sensors, which automatically adjust the louvres to changing conditions. These sensors can also be integrated into complex building management systems.
