Contemporary styling meets high technology the latest flame fires from Rinnai reflect a strong designer input
Flame fires have an enduring appeal, but most homeowners today are also looking for hassle-free heating solutions. So it's scarcely surprising that gas flame fires are providing a clean and contemporary alternative to traditional fires.
Rinnai, a company that has been marketing gas appliances in New Zealand for more than 30 years, has launched a new range of flame fires that offer designer looks without the associated price tag.
The Reflection range has a distinctive, modern look, and comes in three styles to suit different installation requirements.
Rinnai's first in-house industrial designer, Ben Hawkins, says the development of the Reflection range has been a ground-breaking project.
"Over the past six months we have worked hard to create an affordable range of flame fires that combines elegant styling and functional advancements," Hawkins says. "These reflect the consumer demand for more affordable, efficient and good-looking appliances."
Hawkins says the fires have an efficiency rating of more than 80%, a designer, wall-mounted control for ease of use, and a redesigned heat exchanger.
Rinnai sales and marketing manager David Waters says the new flame fire range showcases the talent of the industrial designer.
"We believe this is an ideal entry product for those looking to change to domestic gas for home heating. It is affordable, efficient, and effective in distributing heat throughout the home."
Reflection styles, which are available in black, bronze or champagne, include the Advance, for masonry installation; the Amplify, for zero-clearance installation; and the Elevation, for suspended installation.
