Architectural vision with Able Aluminium joinery For this project, a mix of joinery from the Metro Series, the APL Architectural Suite, and commercial frames were used. The pivot front door, for example, sits in a shopfront frame and is flanked by panels of frosted glass.Rosenbrand says much of the architectural joinery is large. The sliding door in the living area, which is from the Architectural Suite, is nearly 10m wide. The door is bottom rolling, so it has a seamless, easy operation and a flush sill. The joinery also includes fixed and awning windows. Miro hardware was colour matched to the joinery.Tinted glass helps to keep harmful UV rays at bay and ensures light levels are comfortable on the interior.
