Site’s unusual aspects used as design inspiration for contemporary new home

​​​​​​​Light wells planted with birch trees sit between the three pavilion structures that make up this home. While these bring natural light into the basement level below, they also increase transparency of the main level and provide sight lines between the pavilions – in this case between the study and the living areas.
