Translucent coloured polycarbonate panels define the angled facade of the extension to the Voyager NZ Maritime Museum in Auckland.Designed by Pete Bossley Architects to be a tribute to the late Sir Peter Blake and Black Magic NZL32, the building references the shifting nature of the wind and tides.Holes were punched through the original shed building, to link with the extension at the side. One of the original NZL32 40m masts is suspended from the ceiling on the ground floor of the extension.
