Prior to the remodel of this kitchen, a wall of cabinets had partially blocked the connection between the kitchen and family room. This was taken out and replaced with a curvaceous peninsula divide, responding to the clients wish to be able to keep an eye on proceedings in the family room. The original dark floors were replaced with pale tiles to lighten the space. The designer was Nadia Subaran.
