Canterbury planning project takes top honours in Commonwealth Awards

The project focused on regenerating the district’s worst affected areas in Kaiapoi and The Pines and Kairaki Beach communities following the 2010 and 2011 Canterbury earthquakes, which resulted in nearly 100 hectares of residential land being zoned red and more than 1000 homes demolished.
