First to greet the eye, the wall-hung vanity in this bathroom – by Carla Molyneaux and Gaynor Rodgers, Melanie Craig Design – is a pleasing composition of rectangular floating elements, backed by a dramatic jungle wallpaper and large-format black tiles. Marine grade teak makes a statement in this ensuite pod and vanity, part of a design by Pippa Paton of Pippa Paton Design. "For the ensuite we designed a T-shaped teak ‘pod’ to house shower, double vanity, floor-to-ceiling storage and display niches and screen the WC from view," says Paton.

Kevin Toukoumidis and Bob McFadden of dSpace Studio designed the dynamic home that this bathroom appears in. The vanity is pretty dynamic itself, with a wall-mounted pourer emerging from a wall of plumage. The wild pendant is perfectly at home in the eclectic, edgy space.
