Two large islands take centre stage in this commercial-look domestic kitchen

​​​​​​​Japanese-look screens part to reveal this industrial-look kitchen by Stefan Sonntag of Masterwood Joinery. The design was adapted from earlier plans by the home’s interior designer SB Designs. With expansive glazing looking out to the Remarkables in Queenstown, the kitchen’s grey powdercoated metal-clad islands, warm American white oak wood wall cabinetry and grey tile floors all connect tonally with the scenery.
