In this renovated sandstone terrace house, stairs lead up to two bedrooms, both of which have ensuite bathrooms. A 1.7m indent in the side wall on the upper level meant it was possible to introduce side windows, which are partially frosted for privacy. A new skylight also ensures natural light can penetrate right down the stairwell. The sandstone walls have been left exposed wherever possible. The design is by TKD Architects.
