Modernising renovation creates open-plan living zone at rear of home

​​​​​​​For this modernising renovation, the hallway offers line of sight right through the retained, more traditional spaces and on through the reworked large living zone to the new pool, spa and landscaped grounds at the rear. At the point where the broad hallway opens to the new living zone, a pocket slider can be drawn across to separate the old and the new, either for acoustic or heating control.
