Architect John Bulcocks plans of this house show how its two independent L-shaped structures are offset against each other, forming a courtyard in between. Support columns for the stainless steel structure that contains the main living areas are positioned irregularly, creating the effect of tree trunks in a forest. The second L-shaped structure constructed of fair-faced concrete is lower down the sloping site and contains a cinema and private gallery space.
