Four large structural steel arches create a dramatic entry to this new country house designed by designer Guy Shallard of Lat Forty Five. The untreated steel has been left to weather, creating a rusty patina that matches the Corten steel in other parts of the house. The schist stone on the house was quarried from the building site.
