Floating roof panels above each wing of this tropical house act as a heat shield, ventilating the roof space and helping to prevent the interior from overheating. The house also benefits from a thermal chimney warm air is pulled up through the atrium and vented through the roof. All the walls on this side of the house are fully glazed to maximise the relationship with the greenery. The design is by architect-owner Leong Yew Kooi.
