Viva Italia
A new, ultra-lightweight ceramic surface from Italy has opened up a raft of new design possibilities, say the experts at SpazioCasa
For many decades, designers have looked to Italy for the latest trends with good reason. Innovation in both design and technology has transformed residential and commercial interiors.
One of the latest such innovations is the new Cotto d'Este Kerlite ceramic surfacing material, available from SpazioCasa. At just 3.5mm thick, this surface is considerably lighter than standard ceramic tiles, making it suitable for numerous applications, including exterior cladding.
SpazioCasa director Paolo Cozzolino says Kerlite comes in large sheets up to 1000mm x 3000mm which can be cut to meet any design requirements. It is light enough to be used on walls and countertops, and its thinness also makes it more workable than standard ceramic products.
Kerlite comes in an extensive range of natural and contemporary colourways.
You can check out the full range of flooring, plumbing and bathroom products at SpazioCasa showrooms nationwide.
