The outdoor room

Attractive landscaping is no longer an optional extra for a new house. These days it's an integral part of the architecture, with paved areas providing outdoor rooms that can be used all year round.

The owners of this new house in Beachlands opted for the natural sandstone look of Akarana pavers from Jagas Paving's Platinum range. These are paired with a contrasting border of Sienna pavers from the same range.

To provide further visual interest, and to define the space beneath the gabled overhang, the pavers in this area are laid on the diagonal. This square is also bordered by Sienna pavers.
