A warm, seamless vibe is achieved for this master suite which favours plenty of sunshine and pleasing connections between spaces

Designed by Ben Hudson Architects

From the architect:

The layout is designed to achieve a seamless flow between the ensuite, bedroom and robe area – creating a cohesive and harmonious space.

The design revolves around the owner's desire for a tranquil retreat that combines comfort, functionality and natural elements.

Custom timber veneered joinery plays a pivotal role in achieving this integration, providing a warm and inviting aesthetic that unifies the three areas.

A primary challenge was maintaining privacy for the occupants while still enjoying natural light and the breathtaking mountain views.

High level windows are strategically positioned to frame long views to the alpine environment, with the bedhead/robe joinery designed to create a subtle separation of the spaces – without obstructing views.
