To allow the views to take prominence, wall colours were chosen from a neutral palette.

Interior walls are painted in Resene Parchment, a light beige neutral that can be used as a main colour in a minimalist scheme, or offset against a deeper tone. In this home, it provides balance with the exterior paint, Resene Dune, a dark grey and ochre mix. Doors, ceilings and skirting boards are painted in Resene Bianca, which is a light cream often used as a warmer alternative to white.
