Here, the garden landscape is brought into the kitchen and living areas with a soft green wall tone, which extends to the main wall of lacquered kitchen cabinetry, in Resene Bitter, with matt finish.

The kitchen's aesthetic was carefully crafted to exude sophistication, with dark blue and grey cabinetry, an Olympia Quartzite Honed Block benchtop and satin brass diamond-textured handles.

4. Leafy location

5. Playing favourites

Designer: "To address the owners' love of natural timber but in an unpredictable way, I stained timber in their favourite colour green and then wire-brushed the cabinetry to give them the green look they were after. The teal blue painted walls give the green cabinetry colour relief."
