2019 TIDA New Zealand Powder Rooms winner – Detail by Davinia Sutton

The essence of a powder room is a design that creates an immediate impact on guests.

And the TIDA judges felt this stunning powder room by Davinia Sutton undoubtedly achieved that.

Positioning the vanity with its show stopping gold glass mosaic basin on the entry axis introduced a bold and vibrant element to the space. 

This effect is enhanced by the use of steel fishtail mosaics on the wall behind, with the same tile also used as a backdrop in the toilet cubicle.

Concealed LED lighting and careful placement of pendant lights accentuate the striking combination of materials and colours the designer selected.
