Three-pavilion home connects with mountain landscape through material palette and form

​​​​​​​This kitchen – in a new home by Condon Scott Architects – is at the back of the main living pavilion. A schist wall supplies the splashback, protected by glass, while the island is fronted in Corten steel which will patina over time.
