This grand holiday home sits comfortably on the levelled ground prepared for it. And given the extensive earthworks required to ready the site, it’s not really surprising that not a square metre of flat land is wasted. Having the pavilions stepped and angled to the site and views also provided opportunity to optimise side views from the living spaces as well as enjoying the harbour views straight ahead. Along with the cladding, the unstained timber decks are another way to connect the pristine home to its unspoilt and beautiful natural environment.
