When planning the layout for this kitchen, designer Leon House’s initial focus was the positioning of a wine cellar and wine fridge next to the island. Vein cut quartzite on the benchtop wraps around the island, making it seem like a stone cube with cabinetry inserted. A hatch on the rear work area connects the main kitchen with the fully equipped scullery behind.
