New layout, materials and finishes bring dramatic changes to outdated kitchen

Marble-look quartzite used for the splashback and countertop in the cooking zone of this renovated kitchen is in a leathered finish and connects with the countertops used on the kitchen’s perimeter cabinets. Similarly, the cabinets housing the ventilation unit above the cooktop use the same lacquered grey door panel as the perimeter cabinets.
