With its long, low form and neutral colour palette, this new house is an unobtrusive addition to the Arizona desert landscape. The house, designed by Ibarra Rosano Design Architects, comprises three linked pavilions a garage wing, the main pavilion accommodating the living areas and master bedroom and a third wing providing a guest suite and office. The two key volumes are linked by a narrow library room. All the main rooms look out past the pool landscape to the desert beyond. The landscaping includes a cantilevered viewing portal with a deck, which sits at one end of the pool.
