On this traditional Cape Cod house, a playful mermaid weather vane stands watch on a cupola at the end of the wing housing an apartment. Directly below is a childrens playroom. The white Doric columns seen on the entry porch are repeated on the sheltered decking leading out to the pool. A bank of indigenous coastal plantings separates the house and deck from the waters edge. Both wings appear as octagonal pavilions when viewed from the water. The house was designed and built by Polhemus Savery DaSilva Architects Builders.
