​​​​​​​For this mountain home, timber decking in the rear outdoor kitchen and dining areas gives way to stones and trees – almost like the mountain views but this time up close and personal. The subdued tones, including the concrete fireplace and stacked wood, connect with the natural outdoor palette. Press-to-open cabinetry seen indoors is continued on the external cabinetry, while the benchtop pizza oven was a must for the Italian owners. The generous yet cosy space has wall and ceiling operable louvres that, along with the fire, help to make this an all-season space despite the mountain climate.
