Concrete is so much more than just a construction material in this new home

​​​​​​​This kitchen contains two islands. Designer FuTung Cheng says he wanted the inner island to be more of an architectural piece rather just a collection of cabinet boxes. One way he achieved this was to separate out the underbench cabinets so that they have a floating effect.
