Pre-weathered copper clads the gables of Knox Church in Christchurch, which has been fully restored following the February 2011 earthquake. Although the original brick walls of the church fell outwards during the earthquake, the heritage interior was left intact. The restoration project included the construction of new walls and earthquake strengthening. The design is by Wilkie + Bruce Architects.
