From the designer:

Originally, the walk-in closet and the master suite were conceived as a single, integrated space.

However, as the project developed, a separating panel was introduced between the two areas, which also came to function as the headboard wall behind the bed.

The master suite conveys a light and welcoming atmosphere, defined by a soft palette of light, neutral tones.

In contrast, the closet adopts a more intense and sophisticated language, incorporating the same woods and metal finishes used throughout the apartment, with darker tones that add depth and elegance to the space.

When designing the suite, comfort was the primary objective, and for this reason the bed became the starting point of the space.

Underpinning comfort – soft lighting and neutral tones

To support this concept, soft lighting and a monochromatic palette composed of neutral tones were adopted, evoking a sense of calm and tranquility.

To avoid the monotony of beige, shades of blue were introduced, also present in other areas of the project, ensuring visual continuity.

The linen curtain, which extends across the entire window wall, preserves the lightness of the room and gently filters the natural light.

Custom furniture provides focal points

Among the highlights of the suite are the bedside tables, custom-designed by the studio.

Their elliptical shape departs from conventional market standards, adding uniqueness and sophistication to the composition.

Another notable feature is the sitting area, requested by the owners and conceived as an intimate living space, designed for moments of shared time with their children.

The closet showcases high-end custom millwork, designed to balance functionality and aesthetics.

Unique approach to storage brings visual grace

To maximise storage capacity without compromising spatial fluidity, a central glass column was proposed, providing visual lightness and enhancing the space’s refined character.

The lighting design combines spotlights and LED strips for functional illumination, while indirect lighting at the base of the millwork creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Bathroom as spa-like retreat

The bathroom was conceived as a true retreat, aiming to evoke the experience of a spa.

To achieve this, the shower and sanitary areas were separated, giving prominence to the bathtub.

The monochromatic palette in off-white tones reinforces a sense of cleanliness and serenity, while the stone-clad wall and the use of a stretched ceiling with natural light effect establish a direct connection with nature, promoting well-being and contemplation.
