At Point Ridge, Kalmar Construction used the expertise of Terracon Industries to provide waterproofing for all parts of the houses below the level of the ground, including terraces, parapets, tanking and lift well pits. To prevent any water entering these areas, Terracon Industries supplied and fixed its Rawmat Pre-hydrated Bentonite system.Terracon Industries owner Nigel Campbell says one important advantage of Rawmat is that it can be attached to the pre-cast panels on site and then correctly positioned before being installed. This saves time and eliminates a potentially dangerous working environment."Rawmat will withstand damp installation conditions that don't suit other membranes. These often require clean and dry conditions and drying time, which is difficult to achieve," Campbell says. A view of some homes waterproofed by Terracon Industries.
