The ground floor stay comprises 1x Queen bedroom and 1x double bedroom and a bunk bedroom.
Our space is perfect for a couples getaway, or families alike – accommodating up to 6 people.
Out and about
- As well as a magnificent beach 100 metres away, it's a quick 3 minute drive to The Beach Box Cafe at Coopers Beach. Go meet Steve and Lani for the best coffee, muffins, bagels and gelato in the far north!
- We are so lucky to have great food just around the corner in Mangonui, One of our favourites, just a four minute drive is The Waterfront Cafe and Bar. Open all day and through to about 10pm, it's a great place to enjoy the view and watch the people pass by while munching on fabulous pizza and amazing wine.
- As well as spectacular views, beach walks and bush walks just minutes away, if Thai is your style you can't go past The Thai in Mangonui. Professed (by an expert!) as 'the best Thai I've had outside of Thailand', this is a must when you visit us.
- Ladies – if you want to take something a little 'special' home with you AND have a fabulous shopping experience, you need to go to visit Antoinetta at her gorgeous shop in Mangonui. Shopping at/or even just visiting Antoinetta is always a delight.
- Vacation time is always a good time to try something different and we have a fabulous (authentic) Turkish kebab truck – Kebaby – at Coopers Beach – just three minutes away. A quick phone call to order your dinner, and it's ready in minutes, by the time you drive there in fact.
- If you are looking to self-cater while you're here, Coopers Beach Butchery is a must-visit. They make their own sausages, great for the BBQ, and have exceptional cuts of meat as well as a full range of fabulous condiments, marinades and mustards – real true, old fashioned quality and service with a smile.
- For your every grocery need, we are blessed with two amazing 4Square stores – one three minutes drive away at the Coopers Beach Shopping Centre and the other four minutes drive away in Mangonui – where there is also a local Post Office. The latter 4Square also offers a unique grocery shopping experience whereby the shop is perched out over the water!
- Want something different? Just a short 10 minute drive will find you at Dancing Petrel Vineyard. Enjoying a truly unique setting on Paewhenua Island, the vinyard's owner Kim would be more than happy to take you through their extensive wine list for a tasting. You'll need to call her first though. This is a really fun thing to do – and will show you how far Northland wine has come – delicious!
